Today,we were having our literature lesson.When two boys from our class fought.One is a Malay,another is a Chinese.Bcos of the fighting,our teacher stopped the pair from fighting and stopped the lesson.She told us about racism.She said that Singapore pride on being a multi,racial country.She also said that the true owners of Singapore are the Malay.We,chinese r actually guests in Singapore.All of us,muz treat each other equally.She also told us that if someone asks her wad her race is,she would feel insulted.Therefore,she prefers the word,ethnic group.IN that way,it would be polite.Bcos of this,in the past,there were riots and many lives were claimed from the racial riots.And she also said why English has been the first language.Bcos,Malay,Chinese and Indian know English,hence English has been the first language.
Another reason is bcos,if u were to talk to your chinese friend in chinese in front of a malay friend,your chinese friend understands wad u were talking.But your malay friend does not know wad u r talking.They would feel angry,as they would not know if you r or not talking bad about them.
Therefore,it is best to use English.
Another important thing my teacher told us,never give names to other ethnic groups.Example,ppl use the word"ang mo"to refer to Americans.This is not right,it is rude and how u think the Americans would feel if u call them those names?Of course they feel angry,hence do not give them names.(if i have offended any of u readers,i sincerely apologise)

I m so stressed up!!!Tml Chinese Exam,todae almost whole class scolded by teacher for doing the skeleton of the 'shi wen' and the 'gong han'wrongly.PLuz,almost all the teachers like have plans to make us panic.Anyway,the exams were so near,yet they gave us so many hw to do,when we cannot finish,get scolding,when can we have a little bit of rest??? Life as students make us so unhappy,exams coming,we should rest more so that our brain can function quickly.sigh.......somemore,our teacher sae if our chinese exam doesnt get the least B3,we will be demoted to normal chinese instead of higher chinese.See,the stress is all there!sigh.....stress...stresss

Todae..sad la..juz bcos we were attending to Serene bcos she felt ill ,we,the three of us failed our run..i m sad that i hav failed..i thought i could get a gold.Now,all gone..no badges anymore..sob..juz bcos of her,we hav failed.However i will not blame her as it was not her fault..mayb..i could ask Mr Foo to give me a retest or minus the time we took to run.Bcos we attended to her for abt 1min..hence...it would b fair if he minus the time off.But if he refused,i will not trouble him but will blame him for not letting us practise running every PE lesson.In that way,we can build our stamina and in the NAPFA test,we will pass wif flying colours.
